ONE. Rosena Sammi Coconut Bangles – Just one of these colorful bangles makes a bold statement, which is so perfect because they’re only $45 each. They have this gorgeously ornate Indian-inspired detailing that makes these seem super luxurious. Love them! - Connie

TWO. Gap Lightweight Ombre Scarf — I’m always looking for ways to add color to simple jeans and tank top outfits and this scarf from the Gap totally fits the bill. It’s a lightweight cotton gauze material, making it soft and not itchy at all (that’s very important to me!) The ombre design is eye-catching and unique, and it comes in four different colors, so you can mix and match with what you’re wearing accordingly. The frayed fringes at the edges are cute, too. As much as I like scarves, I have a problem paying a lot for them, so the fact that these are priced at $19.50 makes me very happy. One of these might be coming home with me this weekend… - Stacey

THREE. BOBI Modal Jersey Halter Ruffle Dress — This pretty dress from Bobi is on sale for just under $50 – just in time for summer. I love the feminine detailing of the ruffle front and slim silhouette, and the cotton/modal blend of the material is so soft. The Stillwater color will make you look like a tall, cool glass of water. (It’s also available in black, and would be a perfect LBD!) - Nina

FOUR. Happy Hour at Joya Spa — ‘Chic’ is naturally a word that everyone associates with Joya Spa, located on property at the InterContinental Montelucia Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona- but ‘cheap?’  Only in the best meaning possible!  Every Thursday, Joya Spa offers a happy hour where guests can treat themselves to a wash, blowout, manicure and a drink for only $40. The luxury salon uses Shu Uemura’s Art of Hair for a decadent experience and they have on hand a full martini bar, champagne, red wine, white wine and various mixers.  The signature is the Joyatini made from pear vodka, preserved plums and a splash of fruit juice.  Can’t think of a better way to start off the weekend than with a fancy drink and fancy hair.  Happy Hour indeed! - Carolyn

FIVE. American Apparel Unisex Fine Jersey Short Sleeve V-Neck – I never really understood the appeal of American Apparel, until I spotted one of my friends wearing their Unisex Fine Jersey Short Sleeve V Neck in Purple.  I’ve been looking for the perfect V Neck for years, to wear with jeans or to pair casually with a short miniskirt and I finally found my match.  Although this T shirt is technically Unisex, there will be no mistaking you for a boy when you wear this shirt: the V neck is low cut, and the jersey is figure hugging and shows off your curves without being too clingy.  It comes in a rainbow of colors, and is one of the softest T shirts I own.  I am usually firmly against buying the same thing in multiple colors, but I’ve made an exception for this T shirt, as I own it in both dark gray and white.  Fit Tip: As it is Unisex, you will want to go one size down than your normal size to make it fit your feminine body. - Kathleen

I always buy the same things in various colors…and sizes when my real size isn’t actually available… like my pink/blue Miu Mius from last summer- neither of which are in my size. And my nude/black Louboutins- only one if which is in my size.. and also a few other pairs of shoes..yeah

I love your monthly Cheap & Chic! The bangles are my favorite this month – but only because I live too far from the spa and I already have two lightweight scarves ;-)
