Sneak Peek from the Louis Vuitton Showroom

If  I took away anything from my recent visit to the Louis Vuitton showroom, it’s that despite the harsh realities of the real world, theirs is a fairy tale universe full of extravagant opulence for Fall 2009.  I felt like I had stepped into a Baroque fantasy land, surrounded by copious amounts of gold threading, lace, jewels and beads.  Marc Jacobs, who I feel usually produces such feminine, wearable pieces chose a more avant-garde route for this collection.  In fact, two of the more questionable pieces at the recent Met Gala worn by Madonna and Leighton Meester, were both Louis Vuitton (I saw them at the showroom!).  But it’s not all extreme fashion there, below we found some of our favorites among the fancy lot.

There’s JSG Anne & I, wearing Nanette Lepore & Target respectively, but appropriately blending into the theme of LV’s fall collection.
