Insider’s Obsessions: Rachelle Hruska
Rachelle Hruska is probably a familiar name to you if you’re one of the millions of people who visit GuestofaGuest.com, one of the most fun New York nightlife blogs on the Internet. Hruska is the widely loved founder and editor of the site – identifying hot spots before they’re even open, regularly hanging with (and reporting on) the city’s social and media influencers, and blogging before most of New York even wakes up so we can get our daily dose of gossip and glamour with our morning coffee. We caught up with Hruska to find out the current obsessions of this pretty girl-about-town.
ONE. Cetaphil — It’s the only thing I have used for lotion or face wash since I was like 10. My mom buys it by the gallon ha.
TWO. Tumblr — I am a nerd at heart and, while Twitter is fun, Tumblr is where I really share my deepest thoughts. The founder, David Karp is a friend. It’s like a blog on steroids.
THREE. Victor & Rolf- Flowerbomb — When I wear perfume, this is my top choice. It is a fitting choice for all seasons.
FOUR. Oysters from Blue Ribbon Brasserie — I am OBSESSED with Blue Ribbon (the original). The bartender and co-owner James could cure my lonely NYC nights any day of the week.
FIVE.Trek Mountain Bike — It’s like a pet at this point. Bought with my very environmentally conscious friend and I have saved enough in cab fare to pay for it. I got it blessed at the cathedral earlier this year and I can’t wait to go cruising around Montauk this summer.

I will only use Cetaphil- or Noxzema (the original in the blue tub) for when I need a deeper clean- both are SOOO gentle on tender facial skin.
