ONE. Banana Republic Faceted Round Cocktail Ring — I love cocktail rings, but the cheaper ones I find are usually look, well… cheap! That’s why this one from Banana Republic immediately caught my eye in the display. The stone is a smokey quartz that’s the color of champagne with a gold band. It’s just so pretty and I love how sparkly it looks! It’s only $35 but you would swear it costs way more. Definitely a statement piece that you can’t resist. – Nina

TWO. Charlotte Russe Oversized Heather Tee — Sometimes, the most basic pieces in your wardrobe are the hardest ones to find.  Tees in particular are difficult for me, especially since I can’t bring myself to spend over $20 since I know it’ll wear out within the year. I’ve been searching for an oversized boyfriend tee that’s perfect for throwing over jeans or shorts for weekend errands – achieving that casual, yet still effortlessly styled look. I surprisingly found the perfect one at Charlotte Russe. This super light breathable tee is ideal for summer. I even love the shirred detail at the sleeve and think it would look great with some layered necklaces. (The gray version is already in my closet!) More importantly, at just under $15, I won’t feel guilty when I have to throw it out. — Connie

THREE. Express Elbow-Sleeve Flyaway Cardigan — Cardigans are an essential for summertime office wear, as a coverup for summertime dresses and protection against frigid air conditioning.  I was admiring the cardigan that an office mate of mine was wearing, and was surprised to hear that it was from Express, a store I haven’t visited since my college days.  I went to check out the store for myself, and loved the loose flow of this eblow sleeve flyaway cardigan.  Less stodgy than the usual boxy, conservative, hip length, wear-with-pearls version, this one is more of a drapey robe style with its long length. At $39.50, it’s an affordable addition to an office wardrobe, and in a practical 100% machine washable cotton.  It’s also easily transitionable for the fall months to pair over jeans for chillier weekends, and versatile and comes in a variety of color including stripes. – Kathleen

FOUR. Reebok Classic Original Hand Bag —  Reebok’s versatile bag works is one of the chicest options for a gym bag we’ve come across- so cute, that it could also double as your day to day handbag!   Frequent travelers will also love it as an easy carry on item. The only thing more attractive than this bag is the price- retail at an already affordable $48- but now on sale for $24.99.  I like the white with beige trim best for a subtle contrast that works great for summer, but you can also choose a white/black  as well an all black bag.  At this price, you could buy all three for cheaper than a one month gym membership in New York. –  Carolyn

FIVE. Benefit Cosmetics My Place Or Yours Gina — Part of Benefit’s new Crescent Row trio of scents, My Place or Yours Gina is a fun fragrance for summer. It’s a woody-oriental scent with a mixture of (among others) Pink Pepper and Wild Raspberry notes – definitely unlike anything I can remember smelling before and perfect for a night out. It comes in the most adorable little bottle and the packaging is meant to look like a flat in Bath, England. (As someone who loves everything British, I couldn’t resist it). At only $36 for a 1 ounce bottle, it’s a cheap and chic gift for your best friend or to add to your own fragrance wardrobe. – Stacey
