Crush on Stila’s Summer Collection

I am such a Stila fan.  I was so upset a few months ago when it seemed like they might go out of business; but luckily, they got everything sorted out, and they’re back and better than ever.  Their new Indian Summer collection is to die for.  It’s all about bronzes and golds, punctuated by streaks of bold color, and I can’t stop wearing it.  I pretty much love every thing in the collection, but here are my standouts.

I usually start my morning routine with the new Bronzing Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15.  It’s the same great formula as their regular tinted moisturizer, but the bronzing aspect makes the sheer coverage even better – it really evens out my skin and gives it a healthy glow, but it feels light and airy on, almost like I’m not wearing any makeup at all.  Perfect for the warmer weather.  (And it’s infused with genuine 24kt gold!  Who doesn’t like the idea of wearing gold on their face?  It seems so decadent and luxurious).

Coral shades are big this season and you can’t find a better multi-tasking product than the Mango Crush, Lip & Cheek Stain.  It’s housed in an easy to use clickable pen, which you can use to paint the gorgeous peachy shade on your lips or cheeks.  The color is natural and long-lasting, and it even smells like a mango.  The formula contains Vitamins A, C and E, so it’s moisturizing and it gives my cheeks a really natural flush.  (I love using it on my lips the most though – I’ve been trying to find the perfect coral shade for a long time now and this is as closest as I’ve come).  Plus, it’s super portable – the pen slides easily into a clutch or even your pocket, so you never have to be without it.

The Charmed Eye Shadow Palette was inspired by the colors of India.  The adorable package is decorated with authentic Indian bindis and the four highly-pigmented shadows it contains are all new colors to Stila’s shadow line.  They’re infused with genuine 24kt gold, which gives them a distinct shimmer perfect for an evening out.  (It also helps to minimize the appearance of fine lines).  The four shades it contains are:

I really can’t pick a favorite color out of the four because they’re all so great.  You can use them either wet or dry, so I’ve been pairing the warm gold with the teal blue – it’s an unexpectedly fun combo that really pops.

These are only a few of my favorites from the Indian Summer collection.  (I also highly suggest all of you gloss addicts out there check out the new 24kt Glosses – they’re SO sparkly and colorful that they just beg to be worn every day.  Merlot, a deep berry, is my personal favorite).

I may need to get this stain- I have heard so many good things about Stila lip gloss/stains and I love how I could take it anywhere.
