Backstage Beauty SS10: Chris Benz
Chris Benz’s SS10 show was a gorgeous flirty collection filled with color and whimsy. Makeup artist Daniel Martin for Lancome created a healthy, sunkissed look that would match the mood. The result was a fun 60′s inspired party girl look that is still elegant and refined. Below are instructions on how to re-create this pretty, glowy look:
1) Begin with an application of Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate to clean and create naturally glow skin. Follow with an application of Genifique Eye (available 10/15) to brighten up the eye area.
2) Even skin tone with Shu Uemura Nobara Foundation and followed by a dusting of Ageless Minerale Translucent Powder all over the face.
3) Use with Lancome Pop N’ Cheeks in Coral Flirt (available Spring 2010) to highlight cheekbones (near the temple) for a natural-looking blush.
4) Smudge Le Crayon Khol in Black Coffee on upper and lower lash lines, followed with Hypnose Mascara to define eyes.
5) For a bright, creamy coral lip, L’Absolu Rouge in Chris & Tell (fifth lipstick in Pout-a-Porter designer lipstick series, available Spring 2010).
6) Models wore Le Vernis in Bon Bon Strawberry on nails and Mademoiselle Grape on the toes. (Polishes will be available November 2009.)
