Kate Spade Goes Frenchie

I live in flats and currently am in desperate need to refresh my collection. Somehow, I’ve worn out many of my flats and they’re coming apart all around the same time. This means I need some new ones, stat! I’ve ordered a basic black pair from J.Crew as their ballet flats have served me well in the past, but I do like to have a couple of more fun pairs in my closet too.

The Frenchie Flat caught my eye when I was browsing over at Kate Spade recently, and I’m thinking it might be a great gold ballet flat to have. The patent gold leather isn’t too flashy, but isn’t too muted as to make the color look washed out. I like the black grosgrain ribbon accent, which adds an understated feminine feel. The rubber sole on the bottom should make walking in them quite comfy, too. What do you think? Are they worthy of placing an order?
