Thank you ladies! I’m jotting down your recommendations for future reference. At 2 weeks before my due date I will not be shopping for jeans, but in 3 or 4 months a pair of skinny jeans will be mine!

My loyalty lies in jeans with stretch. Denim without it leaves you feeling stiff and most likely looking 10-15 years older. Ew. I’ve found that the ideal stretch is this XLA 4-way aka Lastol, found in favorites like Red Engine and Paige. This miracle fiber is literally a hybrid of perfect fit and form, never losing its shape and never a struggle to jump into!

I second the Joes jeans comment. I’m Short with a tush and they even work on me. And they have stretch. Plus, they have navy stitching – You can get a good dark blue without the ugly yellow stiching! woo

Did I miss something or was Petite the only height/body type that was mentioned? Were any of the testers a pear shape? I’d given up on finding skinny jeans that will flatter a petite pear shape but now I’m hoping! I also have a friend with toothpick legs and no rear end on the hunt for skinny jeans that are fitted and will make her look like she has a butt.
