Truly, Madly, WHAT?

Ladies and Gents. This truly boggles my mind.
It seems that Conde Nast has launched a DATING SITE. Desperate times call for desperate measures, I suppose.
I read about it on Fashionista and then on Vogue.co.uk’s blog. Supposedly this new property TrulyMadlyDating.com is an international dating site designed to unite “glamorous girls with fashion-conscious GQ-reading boys to create matches made in style heaven.”
A quick search, however, shows that neither the girls nor guys look that glamorous. There also seems to be more guys in North Face fleeces than tailor made suits. Not to mention, most of those high powered, custom suit wearing studs that these “glamour girls” are most certainly hoping to score are likely reading the Financial Times over GQ. Perhaps a cross-media company collaboration might make more sense??
The site, however, is recommended by GQ and Glamour and covered by Vogue!!! Dear FTC, if you want a good example of shilling or biased editorial, or ads masking as editorial (whatever your concerns are), this may or may not be your perfect example!
