Angel Food

So tonight is the live Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (which will air nationwide on CBS on December 2) but what I’m really excited about, of course, is the afterparty. My invite must have gotten lost in the mail- and if yours did too at least I have the scoop on the food and drink situation in case I ever want to stage my own little lingerie fashion show (but really, they’re good enough for anytime. In fact I’m jonesing for one now as I write this).

First up is the Angel Elixir which is made from:

1 oz Stoli Gala Applik
3 strawberries
Sprinkles of vanilla sugar
Rose Sparkling Dessert Wine

Muddle strawberries and vanilla sugar. Add Stoli Gala Applik, shake well and strain into a flute. Top with rose sparking dessert wine. Apparently tonight, the drink will be garnished with edible gold dust & pink aphrodisiac rose petal, though I may have to skip that step in my version.

And for nibbles, I heard that Baked by Melissa is providing her sinfully good Red Velvet mini cupcakes (so you can eat a few and still flaunt your bikini bod). She’s been all over the party circuit recently. I feel like I see her yummy creations at almost every event I go to. It’s good you can order her cupcakes online because let me tell you, it’s something everyone must try!
