ONE. White + Warren Cashmere Travel Wrap — This may be my favorite item in my wardrobe ever. I love White + Warren for their luxurious cashmere, but this wrap takes it to another level. Between the cozy warmth and the functionality (as as scarf, wrap, blanket, etc.), this is an investment piece you’ll never regret. (It was on my Lust List from March ’09 and a worthy splurge.) It’s been perfect for the cold weather, and you can bet I’ll be taking this on the plane for my next trip.
TWO. Coach Kristin Hobo Bag in Embossed Python — This bag may look flashy, but it’s surprisingly versatile. The python leather is soft and stunning, and I love that it adds some texture and interest to any outfit you pair this bag with. The classic hobo keeps it grounded while the metallic just adds a bit of fun! Also, it’s quite roomy, so you can fit pretty much anything you’d need for your day.
THREE. TDM by Nepali Bambi Scarf — This past month has been quite chilly here in LA, so I’ve been bundling up with scarves. This TDM by Nepali scarf has been in heavy rotation because while it’s lightweight, but still keeps me warm. The deep blue color makes it easy for me to match with pretty much anything in my wardrobe and the tie-dye pattern looks less boho, and more artistically abstract when tied around your neck. It’s also made from bamboo, which makes it totally eco!
FOUR. Son of John Lila Tee — If you want to be comfortable but glam, this Son of John tee is what you’re looking for. The cotton blend is super thin and super soft, but is dazzling with a ton of metallic sequins. I like how it’s a basic item that gets a super luxe treatment to make it special. I’d throw a boyfriend cardigan and belt over this, and wear it with skinny jeans and boots.
FIVE. Banana Republic Rocio Cross-Strap Platform Sandal — I hadn’t worn these heels in months until a friend (who also has a pair) remarked how often she wears hers because of how comfortable they were. I pulled these out of my closet and was reminded of how great they were. I love the edginess of the shape and the platform (which is typically much more of TDO editor Stacey’s style). She would wear them with bootcut or wide legged jeans, but I’ve been wearing mine with skinny ones and oversized sweaters (or cute tops for a night out). Unfortunately, these sandals aren’t available anymore, so I’d check eBay if you want to score these for yourself.
P.S. We had some technical difficulties, but if we can get it to work, we’ll be supplementing the post with video so you can see the products in better detail!
