Insider’s Obsessions: Gretchen Hollingsworth

We adore the candle line, Paddywax, created by Gretchen Hollingsworth. What started out as a whim, it is now a 14 year old company with many fans (like us!). Paddywax is probably best known for their gorgeously scented and imaginative candles with elegant packaging – together, making the product irresitable! Gretchen clearly has a “nose” for beautiful things, so let’s find out what she’s obsessing about this month!

ONE. Essie Mink Muffs — I’m not a huge color-on-my nails person, so this soft beige shade is perfect for me.

TWO. Paddywax Garden Crush in Jasmine Tin — Our new Garden Crush collection is bright and poppy, full of spring florals. Jasmine’s green-yet-floral fragrance reminds me of gardens and sunshine and heat and all of the gorgeous elements summer brings.

THREE. Samantha Robinson Porcelain Teacups — My style is very laidback (in fashion and home). I like mixing and matching colors, highs and lows. Nothing in my house really matches, that’s why these handmade teacups are so cool. They are casual yet have a shot of elegance thanks to bold colors and vintage style.

FOUR. Dutch Cruiser — My husband just gave me a cruiser with a basket, so I’m getting back into riding around town. I had forgotten how peaceful is to be out in the open, away from the car radio.

FIVE. Frye Harness Boots — I’m addicted to the classic appeal of these boots. I wear them year-round, with jeans, skirts – everything! And they’re insanely comfortable.

I really like those handmade coffee and tea cups! Bummed they’re not available to purchase online yet.

I have the Essie Mink Muffs, it is a really pretty color and I’ve gotten tons of compliments on it. It’s a bit darker than the Chanel Particuliere but I think it looks better.
