Lust ListLust List: April 2010

ONE. Diane von Furstenberg Milton Dress — Once the warmer weather comes, I love throwing on a cute dress to go out for the night. I tend to be really boring though and stick to the same few classic black ones that I know fit me well. But if the Dress Fairy could bring me one item this month, I’d love for it to be the Milton Dress from DVF. I adore the blend of several different colors and the fact that it’s both a V-neck in the front and has a V back (totally sexy!) And how fun is the tie in the front? It’s a classic style without being boring or too over the top. (And I have the perfect pair of shoes to pair with it!) At $430, it’s not completely unaffordable, but it’s a little out of my price range at the moment. Where’s the Dress Fairy when you need her? - Stacey

TWO. Pierre Gagnaire at the ANA Intercontinental Tokyo – Since I love good food, fashion and views to die for, dining at Pierre Gagnaire at the ANA InterContinental Tokyo tops my lust list item this month. Top Japanese fashion designer Junko Koshino has designed new uniforms for the restaurant staff at the highest Michelan-three-star Pierre Gagnaire restaurant in the world. The restaurant just opened last month on the 36th floor of the Japanese hotel. Pierre Gagnaire’s award winning contemporary French cuisine is served amidst floor to ceiling windows overlooking the stunning Tokyo backdrop.  Should a trip to Tokyo ever be in the works, you can be sure I’ll be splurging on a meal here! –- Carolyn

THREE. Carla Amorim Viennese Ring — This stunning ring by talented Brazilian designer Carla Amorim tops my Lust List this month. A gorgeous checkerboard combination of aquamarine and green amethyst, this ring makes a statement that will make everyone go “ooh and ahh” whenever it’s worn. At over $2,000, this piece remains firmly out of my reach but I’ll admire from afar. - Connie

FOUR. Pour La Victoire Tarissa Wedge Sandals — Spring’s flirty, floral ensembles will go fabulously with these classic yet sexy platform wedges from one of my favorite shoe brands to ogle. I love the little zipper on the back – so flattering! - Charli

FIVE. Gemma Redux Sas Necklace — What’s a spring Lust List without a little spring bling? I’m lusting after the Sas necklace from Gemma Redux! It’s a long, layered necklace made up of gold and copper chains of different lengths and links. Not only that, the Sas features a pretty fluorite stone hanging off one of those chains as well. I can picture wearing this with much of my spring wardrobe—it would make such a statement! - Nina
