Natural Finish Foundation

There are few staples in my makeup arsenal and thus, I usually keep a separate stash of makeup for all the places I could be- eyeshadow and lipgloss at the office, a few palettes at the boyfriend’s apartment, a makeup bag in my overnight bag, and an ever changing supply of odds and ends I throw into my purses. However, there is one piece of makeup that I faithfully tote around day in and day out, from work to home to everything in between and that is Bobbi Brown’s Natural Finish Foundation. Carrying around a piece of makeup everywhere you go does have its risks- it’s prone to get lost for example. Once I sent a series of panic induced texts to the bf asking if I’d left it at his apartment. He had no idea what I was talking about despite my detailed description of “flesh colored liquid in an opalescent bottle with black pump and cap” but it just proves that just as a baby is attached to its security blanket, this foundation is mine.

Unlike some other foundations I’ve raved about in the past, Bobbi Brown Natural Finish Foundation doesn’t leave as radiant a finish, but creates a very natural, sheer soft matte look that even lets your natural blush show through. The texture also keeps your face powder soft and controls shine even in the most humid New York weather. In fact, during the summer I prefer the feel of the natural finish foundation to all my other foundations since it’s the only one I’ve tried that really keeps my face dry all day.

Bobbi Brown Natural Finish Foundation comes in 10 shades so there’s something for everyone. A bottle retails for $45 and a pump is all you need for an entire day.
