I’ve been really into glitter nail polish lately on my toes. (I’d be into it on my fingers too, but for some reason, I feel like it just looks ridiculous on them a lot of the time). Most brands have one or two glitter polishes that I like, but every single one of Deborah Lippmann’s shades have me oohing and aahing.
My favorite one at the moment is Bad Romance. It’s currently on my toes, as a matter of fact, because it went perfectly with a dress I wore to a wedding over the weekend). It’s a blackened fuschia and it’s just gorgeous. It’s sort of mysterious and chic all at the same time, and totally perfect for fall. It’s one of the most gorgeous purples I’ve ever seen. My second favorite is Across the Universe. It’s described as a blazing blue and metallic green glam in sheerest navy, but that doesn’t really do it justice. It’s so unique and pretty, a gorgeous mix of shades that sparkles an amazing amount. I have a ton of nail polishes (WAY more than I probably need) and there isn’t one in my stash that even comes close to Across the Universe. If you’re someone who likes to stand out and get noticed, you shouldn’t miss this one.
Even more exciting, Deborah has just released All That Jazz, a limited edition set of three glitter shades for the fall/holiday season. Razzle Dazzle is a darkened raspberry glitter, Some Enchanted Evening is a pink salmon glitter, and Lady Sings the Blues is a silver sparkled blue glitter. All of them are pretty and fun and so swoon-worthy. Perfect for the holidays, definitely, but also just fun to wear. I love looking down at my sparkly toes in open-toed shoes, but I also love wearing the shades in the winter and knowing that my feet look good even when they’re in socks and boots all day. (And All That Jazz is a great value too – you get all three shades for $40, so it’s basically like getting one for free).
