Accessories, Insider's ObsessionsInsider’s Obsessions: Sang A Im-Propp

Sang A Im-Propp is the designer of SANG A, a collection of exotic skin and leather accessories that was launched in Spring 2006. Her beautiful accessories (especially the bags!) use luxurious materials such as alligator, python, and ostrich skins, and are inspired by her background in dance, musical theater from the early 1900’s, classical films, and iconic actresses such as Sophia Loren. What is she obsessing about this month? Let’s find out!

ONE. Merritt Charles Scarf — An essential item for the obvious warmth and comfort. This scarf reminds me of my all-time favorite artist Ellsworth Kelly…the lines and contrast are perfect.

TWO. Sang A POP Tote in Grid-Embroidered Leather — I’m always on the go and this bag fits everything I need for work and my life…I am in love with the quilted grid texture of this leather!

THREE. Acne Janus Shirt — I am loving Acne these days in general, but this shape is flawless and works with everything.

FOUR. Amore Pacific Moisture Bound Vitalizing Masque — This masque doubles as a moisturizer and is always in my bag. I never leave home without it.

FIVE. Radio Silence: A Selected Visual History of American Hardcore Music Book — I have been tapping into my rock vibe these days and this book is the perfect compilation of past & current American Hardcore…the style it captures has been on my mind as I develop my FW2011 collection.
