SponsoredTDO Sponsored Post: Carmex

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Carmex. All opinions are 100% mine.

Ahh Carmex..that totally addictive, must-have, drugstore lip balm that got me through all those winters in high school and college.  There’s really not much negative you can say about Carmex- it’s reliable, it get’s the job done and it’s affordable for everyone. So when I was introduced to the NEW Carmex Healing Lotion and Carmex Healing Cream, I was down to try it.  These two new products were recently launched by Carmex and each retail for only $5.99.  They are formulated with Vitamin E and Aloe and ideal for hands and body.

My first impression of the products was that the simple packaging fit right in line with what I knew of Carmex- no frills and gets the job done. It’s the perfect size to throw into your purse- which is exactly what I did.   I personally prefer the cream because it’s a heavier consistency- just what I like for chapped winter hands….which brings me to my next point…the formulation is quick absorbing and non-greasy which is key.  The cream kept my hands smooth and soft for hours on end.

The lotion is slightly bigger than the cream and more lightweight which I prefer for my body but not for my hands.  I’m getting into the habit of using it on my feet after showers – and so far have seen great results.

All in all, the Carmex skincare line has proven to be an affordable staple- and much like it’s precursor the lip balm- something I would reach for a the drugstore when on the go.  We’re also giving away a set on our Twitter – so follow @tdailyobsession in order to win!
