ONE. Burberry Fine Cashmere Mega Check Scarf — We always think a gorgeous, warm scarf would make a lovely holiday gift. This one from Burberry is certainly a splurge, but one that your gift recipient will love. Not only is it so warm and soft, but it comes in a variety of rich hues featuring the classic check pattern. Something for everyone!
TWO. Weekend Getaway at Windham Hill Inn — I love the idea of giving the gift of vacation, and after I got back from Windham Hill Inn (full review coming!) a couple weeks ago I’ve been telling everyone I know to go. This is more of a gift for a significant other or a couple, as the Windham Hill Inn is one of the most romantic places I’ve ever been to! Set among the peaceful Green Mountains of Vermont, the Relais & Chateaux property is located at the end of a country road and nestled on 160 acres of pristine land. It’s one of the few places that I recommend visiting all year round as each season brings a different- but equally special- flavor to the Inn. Watch the sun set among rolling hills outside in the summer or read besides your private fireplace in the winter. Make sure to book in the Meadowbrook Suite- the creme de la creme of rooms, which features a double soaking tub by the hearth- and underneath low skylight- perfect for stargazing with your honey on a winter night.
THREE. Dylan Leather Chair — We have always been into mixing vintage items with modern, clean lines. Living in Hollywood and watching more old movies has also added a bit more of that old-school glamour to our style, and as such, we’ve decided that someone with $1,999 to burn must get us this studded wingback leather chair from Crate & Barrel. It’s the perfect combination of old meets new, and it would look fabulous in our office. In Java (or Stone). But we’re not talking about us; we’re talking about your very expensive gift to a very lucky person.
FOUR. Ray Griffiths Jewelry — This 15 carat faceted Plum Cambodian Zircon and pave diamond ring is my favorite piece of jewelry from Ray Griffiths’ line- if not one of my most favorite pieces of jewelry ever! The plum Cambodian Zircon is one of the rarest and most strikingly beautiful stones in the world and this one-of-a-kind ring is a guaranteed conversation starter for any crowd. The stone color is incredibly rich and is set with Ray Griffiths’ signature crown work detailing. This ring absolutely sparkles under the light! There is only one of these in existence and it retails for $7,910. If you don’t manage to snatch it up before someone else does- I love many of Ray’s other showstopper pieces as well.
FIVE. Dempsey & Carroll — This holiday season don’t skimp on your correspondence and gift wrap – make a statement with luxury fine stationers Dempsey & Carroll. This season’s gift picks include our very favorite theme – Nautical! The Nautical Stationery set is complete with 10 bold French Seaside striped lined envelopes and adorable anchor cards in classic red and blue. The Petite Tablets Gift Set is a tasteful collection of four mini notepads that fit right in the palm of your hand, each with a different engraved motif – the Eiffel tower, an elephant, a crescent moon and a tiny pine tree. Wrap these up and adorn your gifts with the burgundy Enjoy Tags and your happy gift recipient will be sure to do just that!
SIX. Tiffany & Co Bracelet Bag — Tiffany’s might be known for their exquisite jewelry and sparkling diamonds, but ever since they introduced a new bag collection earlier this year, we’ve been dying to take one of them home. If you’re splurging on a gift for a fashionable friend or family member, the red Bracelet Bag would be the perfect choice. We love its satin fabric and the ball chain handle gives the classic bag shape a modern twist. It’s definitely a splurge at $795, but she’ll use it for years to come and think of you every time.
