Columbia Alphine Attitude Jacket

Columbia Sportwear’s Alpine Attitude Down Jacket is my newest obsession- a cold weather must-have that delivers both form and function. Thanks to Columbia’s newest Omni-Heat thermal reflective technology, this puffy jacket is warm enough for hitting the slopes yet sleek enough to wear in the city. I love mine so much that I’m ready to order it in multiple colors!
I first learned about Columbia’s winter products on a ski trip to Utah last year and was surprised by how light weight the jacket was and how warm it kept me. The new Omni Heat technology actually regulates the warmth to your body temperature, thus prevent overheating. The material is also highly breathable so you’ll never feel sweaty or stuffy. When wearing my jacket, I am always very comfortable- not too hot, and never cold- even if I’m only wearing a tank top underneath in the coldest conditions. In addition to being waterproof, this coat is also windproof. Nothing else in my closet can even come close to how warm this jacket keeps me in the face of New York’s freezing wind tunnels! Best of all, the Omni Heat technology is super thin and lightweight so the jacket never feels heavy or bulky. I just wish it reached all the way to my toes!
The jacket has a form fitting shape with a soft sateen finish and feminine details. It is also equipped with a number of technical capabilities- such as underarm venting, adjustable powder skirt, pant connect tabs, goggle pockets and comfort cuffs- making it an easy choice for any scenario. I love how this jacket has become on my one stop shop for the winter. Forgot my scarf? Simply zip up! Forgot my hat? The attached hood with removable faux fur lining is super cute and comfy. And my absolute favorite? The super warm, plush pockets that I can just stuff my hands into and stay warm when I can’t find my gloves in the morning.
