I’ve been a fan of Levi’s for the past few years and always mention their name when friends ask for denim recommendations. They’re an iconic brand with strong and affordable denim options for women. One of their newest lines is the Curve ID, which offers three different fits to meet the needs for three different general body types: Slight Curve, Demi Curve and Bold Curve.
First, take the quiz to figure out what type you are. What’s my body shape? Do I have straight thighs? What issue do I have with the waist? With a few simple Q & A’s, I quickly figured out that I was a Demi Curve. (You can also measure yourself or go to a Levi’s store to get fitted.) Now what style to pick? I chose a pair of the Demi Curve Skinny Jeans in a classic dark blue wash. What I love about Levi’s is that they not only offer a wide range of washes, but they also offer inseams that cater to all heights. (I absolutely adore the fact that I never have to take a pair of Levi’s to the tailor.)
When my jeans arrived, I was happy to see the quality of the denim was consistent as always. When I pulled on the Demi Curve jeans, I was actually so surprised to find that there was no gapping nor pinching at the waist. (The latter is what I typically have trouble with when it comes to skinny jeans.) The opening of the leg was skinny (but not too skinny as if it were a second skin), and the inseam was the perfect length, eliminating a tailoring expense (hey, I can put that toward shoes!). They made me look skinnier and taller, and let’s face it…the most important part, my behind looked great, too. In short, this pair of jeans fit my body perfectly – as if I had custom ordered a pair.
Best of all, these jeans retail for approximately $70. (And as far as we could see, all of the styles retail for under $100!) Go find your fit and check out styles at the Levi’s website.
