Are you Fun, Feminine or Dangerous?

Urban Decay has three new palettes out for the spring, and they fall into three distinct categories – Fun, Feminine, or Dangerous. Each palette comes complete with six different shades of eye shadow, a mini 24/7 Eye Pencil, and a mini Eyeshadow Primer Potion, to make sure whatever look you’re going for stays on all day.
The Dangerous Palette is my favorite palette out of the three, just because I love UD’s dark shades. I think they do a great job of making them wearable without being too intense. This palette also has three of my all-time favorite smoky eye shades from them – Mildew, Gunmetal, and Oil Slick. Oil Slick is just such a gorgeous black with silver glitter – it’s impossible to see it in the pan and not want to give yourself a smoky eye. It also comes with a Rockstar liner, which is another one of my UD favorites. If you’re looking for a palette to get ready to go out at night with, The Dangerous Palette is all yours.

The Feminine Palette is equally as usable, but as its name suggests, the shades are lighter, more neutral, with a pastel base to them. They’re perfect for a daytime garden party (I’ve never been to one, but ever since a friend of mine told me about the soiree she went to years ago, I’m dying to attend one). There’s a glittery peach shade, SWF, and my brown staple, Stray Dog, as well as the ever-popular Midnight Cowboy. If you want to incorporate some of the softer, more ladylike shades or shadow into your spring wardrobe, this is the palette for you.

The Fun Palette, as its name suggests, is all about bright shades, with a shocking pink, Woodstock, on one end and a dark purple, Psychedelic Sister, on the other. If you’re looking for glitter, it also has Uzi, a silvery-white color full of sparkles, which you can use along with the Oil Slick liner. Oil Slick is a black with silver glitter and would definitely amp up any of the colorful brights in the palette. (I’ve actually never really thought of using it that way, but now I’m going to have to try it this weekend.)
