With spring finally making an appearance, I’m looking forward to warm weather footwear that I haven’t been able to wear for months – sandals! To me, there’s no better place to start than with Matt Bernson when this time comes. Here are a few favorites:
The Delphine sandal has fantastic simple lines but is decidedly bold. The super soft leather is easy to slide on and off with the back zipper and the demi-wedge gives you a tiny bit of height – but the comfort of a flat sandal. Tr the beaded version for a bit of fun and pattern, or go for it in a beautiful, versatile metallic bronze crackle.
Looking for a bit more height? Try the Sidecar Wedge (available in black, olive and brown). Even though it’s 3.5 inches in height, it has padded insoles to make them comfortable. I love the sleek asymmetry to the shoe – but even more so, the contrasting ornamental buckled leather straps and unexpected inside zip.
If your feet are feeling tired, you might want a flat sandal like the Monaco (available in gold crackle suede, soft cognac and soft black). Gorgeous diamond-shaped cutout straps are woven with braided leather, while an espadrille sole adds casualness.
