Travel and PR guru Sarah Evans is one of the most worldly and savviest people we know. As the managing partner of J Public Relations, Sarah represents amazing hospitality clients from global luxury brands like Fairmont Hotels & Resorts to special boutique properties like Windham Hill Inn. She’s also incredibly stylish to boot- a product of being both an avid world traveler and sophisticated New Yorker. We sat down with Sarah to get the deets on her latest obsessions:
ONE. Brian Atwood Maniac Pumps – I’m obsessed with Brian Atwood’s Maniac pumps. They’re the perfect combination of sassy and sophisticated. Not to mention they’re nearly 5 inches tall and they’re comfortable – a winning combination in my book. I have them in Black and Vendetta Blue and I’m splurging on the Nude ones this month. I can’t resist.
TWO. Organic Avenue – I’m a self-proclaimed foodie. By no means do I have an expert palate, but I do love to eat. My husband and I are always checking out the latest and greatest restaurants in NYC and I’m always in search of local favorites when I travel. Several times a year I give my body a break with a juice cleanse. Sure, it’s a great way to drop a couple of pounds, but the real reward is how fantastic I feel after several days of consuming only fresh pressed fruit and vegetable juice. My skin and is glowing, I feel lighter, clearer and refreshed. I’ve tried many of the brands out there but Organic Avenue is my all-time favorite — and their raw food is a must-try, too.
THREE. Kwigy-Bo Designer Couture Pet Carriers – I have an 9-month-old Matlipoo, Bear. He’s already flown eight times and has checked-in to The Ritz-Carlton twice (yes, I’m obsessed). Because he’s a jet-setting pup, I need a practical but adorable dog carrier. This is often a difficult combo to find. Enter Kwigy-Bo. These pup totes are easy to carry, have tons of storage and they’re fabulous. If only I could get my husband to carry it, too…
FOUR. Anguilla – Hands down, Anguilla is my favorite vacation destination. I’ve traveled to nearly 30 countries and this seaside stunner ranks among the top places I’ve visited. I first went to Anguilla as part of my Honeymoon in 2007, and returned this past fall for a work/play trip. I’m already plotting how to get back. Between the restaurants that rank among the top in the Caribbean, to white sand beaches, and opulent hotels and villas that draw numerous A-list celebs each year. I’m obsessed with the new Ani Villas, where I stayed this past November. Cap Juluca, where I stayed for my honeymoon, is a must-see as well — you won’t find a more beautiful beach anywhere.
FIVE. Cheree Berry Paper – I’m still a firm believer in a hand written note and it doesn’t get any better than Cheree Berry Paper. I first discovered Cheree (former Associate Art Director at Kate Spade in NY) when I was designing my wedding invitations. I found her and looked no further. Her unique letterpress designs are to-die-for whether you’re a Bride or just want to send a simple (but unforgettable) thank you note.
