Let’s Get This Party Started!

I love glitter nail polishes far, far more than anyone who isn’t a 12 year-old listening to Justin Bieber should, but I just can’t help it. There’s something about a glittery pedicure that just makes me smile and it’s such an quick and easy way to add some fun to your look. So of course I had to get my hands on Deborah Lippman’s new Get This Party Started set.

The Nordstrom exclusive is just awash in sparkles! There are three shades included – Happy Birthday, which had previously been released and is a clear shade with hexagon-shaped multi-colored glitter, Forget You, a black base with hexagon-shaped multi-colored glitter, and Candy Shop, a bubblegum pink base with hexagon-shaped multi-colored glitter. I like to use Happy Birthday on top of other shades – the clear base makes it perfect for layering – but the other two look equally fabulous and sparkly on their own. I’m totally obsessed with Forget You. It’s such a deep, rich black that the bright glitter stands out even more against the base, somehow managing to be both festive and sophisticated at the same time. (It’s going to be my go to shade for all holiday parties, I can already tell). Bring on the sparkle!
