I’m a little obsessed with a new brand of body products that I was recently introduced to – 100% Pure. The products are exactly what the name sounds like – they’re 100% natural and 100% vegan, which makes them great for people with sensitive skin who get easily irritated with additives (there are also no harsh detergents, synthetic chemicals, or artificial fragrances).
I tried out three different scents and products – the Cocoa Kona Coffee Hydrating Body Wash, the Blood Orange Body Scrub, and the Meyer Lemon Nourishing Body Cream. I’m all about citrus scents (they’re probably my favorite bath product scents of all) and I absolutely adore the Blood Orange and Meyer Lemon scents. They’re so fresh and fruity and just… crisp, for lack of a better word. I love them because they get me up and going during my morning shower, which isn’t easy to do because I’m practically a zombie before 9am. The Cocoa Kona Coffee scent does the same thing, but in a different way – it’s sort of like taking my morning latte into the shower with me, which is equally as enjoyable.
I’m a big fan of all three of the products – the body wash foams up nicely and leaves me clean without making my skin tight, the body scrub is fabulous at exfoliation, but without being harsh or stinging my skin, and the moisturizer is great – it leaves my skin so soft, but without being greasy at all. They’re really great bath products and I’m actually dying to layer the products with the same scents together (I’m sort of OCD that way). Although I have to admit, the Meyer Lemon and the Blood Orange do go really well together… I really love how nourishing all the products are with their vitamins, antioxidants, and skin brightening fruits. I’ve been on a really big health kick lately (vitamins, running at the gym, the whole nine yards…) and these fit into that so well (and did I mention how amazing they all smell?) There are a ton of other scents that I want to try as well – Key Lime, Strawberry Lemonade, and Pink Grapefruit are on my list, just to mention a few.
You can order 100% Pure products on their website, but my ULTA has them in the store as well (which I just found out this weekend – score!)
