San Francisco-based jewelry designer, Erin Hakansson‘s style found its footing when she moved to London, shortly after graduating from college. While living there, she focused on classic, quality pieces of fashion that she could make her own with modern twists. Gaining inspiration from travels that include Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Madrid, Stockholm, and her current favorite, Florence, Erin focuses on creating elegant pieces that accentuate and highlight the style a woman already has. Find out what she’s obsessing over currently!
ONE. Sitting Bull Beanbags — Sitting Bull Beanbags are an affordable and functional way to liven up a room. We bought one in “God Save the Queen” for our son, but it quickly became our favorite chair as well. It’s portable, comfortable, stylish and fun to have around.
TWO. DeLonghi Espresso Maker — This is one of the best investments we made when it comes to kitchen appliances. It grinds the coffee per shot and makes the best espresso, especially when using Blue Bottle coffee beans. I look forward to getting up in the morning and having that first latte.
THREE. Erin Hakansson Sterling Nugget Necklace — This necklace is rocker chic. It’s cool and modern, and it’s a fabulous way to show off a gorgeous sterling silver nuggets in a simple way. I get compliments every time I wear it.
FOUR. Lacoste Polo Shirts – I live in the Lacoste 5-button golf shirts for most of the year. They are the perfect piece of clothing for kicking around the house, running errands or paired with a bold necklace and skinny jeans for cocktails with the girls. Plus, they layer easily with sweaters and jackets, which is great for San Francisco’s changing weather.
FIVE. My mother’s artwork — My mother was the one who originally taught me how to make jewelry and has continually inspired me to explore the arts and creative expression. She creates amazing paintings, from subtle watercolors to bold oil paintings.
