Bath & Body, BeautyTruth Art Beauty

As much as I love walking into a store and picking up beauty products, there’s something so fun about making them up yourself and customizing them exactly how you’d like them.  That’s the vision behind the new Truth Art Beauty brand from creators Caron Proschan and Emily Graham.  The two women were Harvard Business School classmates and share the belief that beauty products should be like food – natural, unprocessed, fresh and seasonal.  Making products this way is not only healthier, but it allows for better results because the maximum concentration of antioxidants and nutrients can be delivered to skin cells.

To create your own products, go to their website at  Once there, you pick the base that’s best for your skin type, then you add boosters and essential oils to customize your scent, treatment, etc…  They’ll blend your product fresh and ship it to arrive in 5-7 days.  What’s nice is that they’ve made it so that all the combinations are good ones – there’s no way you can make a dud.  (And for those of you that aren’t that adventurous, there are also pre-made blends that you can order too).  I also really like the seasonal aspect of it.  Who doesn’t want their products to match the time of year?  For fall, they’re offering ingredients like Pomegranate Seed Oil, Pumpkin Seed Oil and Organic Coconut Oil, all well known for their cleansing and healing properties, but also delicious!

I tried out the Eye Balm and the Body Buff and both of them were fabulous.  I created my own because that sounded like a lot of fun to me and it totally was.  I got to put in ingredients like Dead Sea Salt, Organic Oatmeal, and pick a Refreshing Sweet Orange and Tea Tree scent for the Body Buff (it seriously took me about 30 minutes just because everything sounded so great, I wanted all the ingredients!)  For the Eye Balm, I went with a Protect Base of Organic Red Raspberry and the Anti Aging and Anti Puffiness Boosts.  Both of the products smell amazing and they work really well.  The Body Buff is a nice exfoliator that leaves my skin soft and moisturized and I love knowing that I’m not putting any synthetic ingredients on my body when I use it.  The Eye Balm is thick and emollient and easy to apply (you rub a little bit between your fingers to soften it and then massage it around your eyes).

There are a total of four different products you can create – Eye Balm, Face Nourish, Body Buff and Body Salve.  I really want them to offer a body wash as well because that’s what I use the most of and I would love to create different combinations for those.  Make it happen, Truth Art Beauty!

I’ve used all four products from Truth Art Beauty for the past six months and have seen remarkable results in my face and body. My relatives and friends are equally excited about the products and are also telling their relatives and friends about it. After using many of the major skin care brands for years, there is nothing that comes close to the quality and price of Truth Art Beauty. I’m a truly satisfied customer for life.
