Editor’s Vanity: January 2012

ONE. Super by Perricone Daylight Savings & Sweet Clean — This duo has been my go-to in the mornings. The cleanser is very gentle and gets rid of oiliness without stripping skin of moisture. Daylight Savings is a fantastic moisturizer that absorbs quickly. With a lovely citrus scent, it also has a must-have element for my daytime moisturizer: SPF.
TWO. Shellac manicures — Keeping a manicure from being chipped is almost impossible for me, so Shellac manicures are worth the investment once in awhile when I want my nails to look impeccable. Go to a good salon, and the manicure shouldn’t chip or scratch for 2-3 weeks. The only reason actually to even get it removed is because of nail growth. Love it!
THREE. Schick Quattro TrimStyle — Let’s face it…razors are not the sexiest beauty product on the market, but they’re necessary. This is one of the best, with 3 adjustable levels, and very affordable. And other beauty bloggers agree, including one of our favorites – Emily from Into the Gloss.
FOUR. Bumble & Bumble The Classic Flat Brush — This limited edition brush is perfect for everyday use. Made with beechwood and boar bristles, this brush can do it all – from gentle detangling to polishing and smoothing.
FIVE. Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus All-Smooth Makeup SPF15 — I’ve never been a huge fan of foundation before I tried this one. This one is just sheer enough to let your skin peek through, but still provides smooth, even coverage that hides most skin sins. Very natural!
