Spring Is Looking Bright

I can’t wait to book my next mani-pedi with the new early spring 2012 Jet Set resort collection from Le Métier de Beauté. The 3-Free nail colors (ShocKEN Pink, Not So Safe Orange and Yield to Yellow) are hot, hot, hot!

Curated by Neiman Marcus Fashion Director Ken Downing, the collection features creamy, highly pigmented primary colors and bold neons that will go almost anywhere — and with anything. While trips to Bora Bora and Miami seem to have inspired the color palette, the 80-degree January weather in L.A. seems fitting. (I know, I’m bragging … but I can so see them with snow, too! What do you think?)

Rounding out the collection are two ultra-light, vitamin E- and lanolin-rich Sheer Brilliance Glosses in Orange Juiced (a “just-picked orange with a golden undertone”) and HibisKiss (a “perfect fuchsia balanced with true red”). Both add a pop of color and shimmer that’s more of whisper than a shout — perfect for day wear or as glaze to sway an intense night shade. And they’re smooth, not sticky or tacky — always a plus.

Le Métier de Beauté’s Jet Set ($18-$32) is available this month at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman. Keep an eye out!
