Accessories, Insider's ObsessionsInsider’s Obsessions: Rebecca Richards & Jessica Bohrer

Rebecca Richards & Jessica Bohrer are the founders and designers behind vintage-inspired jewelry line, Dalla Nonna. These former college roommates turned designers are most known for their signature Calendar Necklace, which is a beautiful way to commemorate a special date. ¬†Find out what these two stylish women are obsessing over this month…we want everything on their list!

ONE. Downton Abbey – The clothes are to die for and it’s on PBS. No wonder everyone from the New York Times to Bergdorf’s is talking about it! Can’t go wrong with fashion indulgence + education all in one shot.

TWO. Dalla Nonna Portafortuna Stacking Rings — We stack on a minimum of 2 (max 6) of these babies every day (dependingon just how lucky we’re looking to get :)). It’s so much fun to mix metals, finishes & now colored stones! They’re delicate enough to go with any outfit, and they sparkle like nobody’s business!

THREE. Celine Luggage Tote – No. 1 on the wish list right now. Obsessed doesn’t even begin to describe how we feel about it. Stunning and modern, yet classic enough to stay relevant season after season. And of course, it’s roomy enough to fit everything from a lookbook to our unofficial mascot, Jess’s pup Chloe (aka Little C). The only question is…What color to go for?

FOUR. Deborah Lippman Nail Lacquer in It’s Raining Men — We’ve tried many, many red nail polishes in our day, and this is by far our absolute favorite. It adds the perfect pop to any outfit – and everything red seems to be on our radar these days – red lipstick, red jeans, red suede & most importantly, red sapphires – gorg!

FIVE. Hand-dipped Salt Caramels from Nunu Chocolates in Brooklyn — Even the name of this place is delish – Nunu – love it! But seriously, the hand-dipped salted caramels are beyond words. Nothing’s better than the mixture of salty + sweet! Plus dark chocolate’s good for your heart, right?

I purchased a white gold necklace with a white sapphire and the marked special date was is not noticeable at all unless you look at the necklace closely. I contacted the store to see if the stone could be changed and was told no but that I could buy another one. As if money grows on trees. I paid over $600 for the necklace. Then I was offered to buy a silver necklace for $75 plus shipping or send the necklace back to have the stone changed for $40 plus shipping but was told they would not be liable if something happened to the stone down the line. That made no sense. Although the design of the necklace is unique I would say customer satisfaction is not a top priority. I wouldn’t buy from this store again.
