FragranceDolce & Gabbana The One Sport

Yesterday, I was invited to the Dolce & Gabbana showroom for the launch of Dolce & Gabbana The One Sport fragrance for men. Now we don’t usually cover too many men’s topics here on TDO but I wasn’t about to turn down an invitation from Dolce so I headed over to check it out.  The showroom had been transformed into a mini-amphitheater and we were led through a demonstration of all the scents and ingredients that go into making the fragrance.  And then, we were shown the video above featuring model Adam Senn. Twice. On the big screen. And I immediately understood why all these lady editors were in the room.

Well- all joking aside- the scent, inspired by the spirit of competition and fitness for mind and body, is absolutely fantastic. I had my boyfriend sample it immediately and he declared it to be his new go-to scent.  (On a side note- unlike me, he didn’t care to watch the video more than once though.) Dolce & Gabbana The One Sport is lighter and fresher than the other scents in The One collection, but still masculine with base notes of patchouli, musk and sequoia. The top notes- rosemary, grapefruit, and water- add an energetic and clean feel. As a woman, I found the fragrance pretty irresistible on my man and he also loved how fresh yet masculine it was. A fragrance that appeals to both men and women is always a winner in my book (especially if it also comes with a steamy video.)
