Bath & Body, SkincareMoroccan Oil On My Body

Moroccanoil, the miracle hair treatment that launched a million copycats, just introduced its collection of luxurious body products and its lineup of chic orange and turquoise bottles have already made its way front and center in my bathroom. It’s not just that the packaging is so pretty- the stuff inside is just as delicious.

My two favorite products from the line are Body Buff and Body Souffle– both now a part of my daily routine. The Body Buff, made from natural orange peel exfoliator,  mixed with the brand’s signature argan oil and blended with Vitamin E, is a gentle polisher that moisturizes as it sloughs away dead skin.  What I love about the product is that it’s easy to apply (doesn’t fall off your body in chunks) and doesn’t leave a sticky film characteristic of many sugar scrubs. After rubbing the oil into the body, any residue is easily rinsed off in the shower, leaving your skin feeling baby soft.

After such a great exfoliating experience, I always have to follow up with the Body Buff which helps lock in moisture for the entire day.  The Body Souffle is made from argan oil and shea butter but is extremely light and fluffy- perfect for the coming warmer months. The subtle signature scent is also to die for and every time I apply it, I wish I were heading to a beach resort instead of my daily tasks about town.

The collection also launched with a cleansing bar, an intense hydrating treatment (for soothing extra dry rough patches) and hand cream. For your own luxurious experience, check out the goods at

Hi Donna- the line is still new so it might not be in all locations yet! But try their spa partners. Not sure where you live but Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental hotels and resorts, Trump properties and the Canyon Ranch locations should have them in stock now. Let me know!

I think some copycats are a million times better than putting on myself all the silicones Moroccan Oil is actually selling instead of the oil. I prefer the true, pure moroccan oil to put on my hair and body, not this stuff.
