Bellacures Hits Pasadena

Need to rest your toes-ies after a long day of shopping in Old Town Pasadena? You’re in luck! Bellacures just celebrated the opening of its new location at 40 Mills Place (right next door to Burke Williams).

Founded by Samira Asemanfar in 2006, the local Bellacures chain is well-known for its celebrity following, comfy oversized suede lounge chairs and relaxing spa-like atmosphere. In it, you can expect massages, hot towels, refreshments … everything you need to sit back and unwind. I recently checked it out, and ladies, this is no place for a “cheap quickie”; it’s where you go to spend quality time with your friends, have a mani-pedi party and generally give yourself some VIP treatment. Think of it as spa time for your hands and feet. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Ask around. Fans will go on and on about the long-lasting gel manis, the super-clean tools, the impeccable service and the amazing color selection. Haters will say they only take cash tips (good to know) and it can be hard to just get in and out. Of course, everyone has their own tastes when it comes to nail salons — so I recommend trying it for yourself!
