Lust List: July 2012

ONE. Loeffler Randall Natalie Cap-Toe Flat — Ladies…I am seriously lusting over this shoe. My love of polka dots is fairly well-documented, and this is no exception. The print is whimsical, yet the neutral tones make it a basic that can be worn with so many pieces in your closet. The luxurious printed calf hair mixed with soft vachetta leather is just a bonus. If only they weren’t $295, they’d already be mine! (And while I’m at it…I wouldn’t mind the Francie Knot sandals either.) - Connie
TWO. Flotsam and Jetsam New York Rorschach Inkdrop Earrings – These are the latest artisan creation to come from the dark, humorous mind of my dear friend Rebekah Harris, head of jewelry label Flotsam & Jetsam New York. She knows just how to strike the right balance between classic and exotic. If I had the money, I’d get them immediately to add a special something to my summer basics. I’d also spring for a few stackable Crab Claw rings and a Sisyphus Crab Vase. To find her wares at a retailer near you, visit flotsamandjetsamny.com . - Charli
THREE. Chantelle Lingerie Pont des Arts — Nice lingerie is always so luxurious and Chantelle’s Pont des Arts set is one of the nicest we’ve seen this season. Inspired by the romance of Paris, the Pont des Arts set is flirty and girly yet sophisticated and elegant. While the lace and detailing would make it a special occasion piece for me, the set is actually meant to be everyday wear, which would make every day feel all the more special. It’s a must have lust list item for all those who appreciate the finer things in life. - Carolyn
FOUR. Crate & Barrel Steamer Bar Cabinet — Now that I’m finally (finally!) moving into a bigger place, I need tons of new furniture to fill up the extra space. One of the pieces I’m dying to pick up is this Steamer Bar Cabinet. I first saw it last year and I’ve been coveting it ever since. It’s inspired by a vintage steamer trunk, so it looks like a piece that’s been passed down for generations (so cool!) Plus, I love the fact that when it’s closed, it just seems like a simple table or maybe even a desk, but when you open it, there’s room to store tons of glasses and barware, not to mention a ton of alcohol. Unfortunately, with all the moving expenses, I can’t really justify it at the moment, but I’m checking eBay constantly just in case it ever appears there for cheaper. Wish me luck! - Stacey
FIVE. Restoration Hardware Ibiza Outdoor Furniture Collection – Dreaming of a beach retreat? Whether or not you have the surf in your backyard or you’re just looking to bring a taste of the Mediterranean to your deck or lawn, Restoration Hardware as always has a tasteful solution for lounging. Ready to withstand the outdoors, I love the Ibiza collection – ultra-relaxed and available 54 fabric options. - Liz
