Beauty, SkincareMoisturize with Josie Maran

Lately, I’ve made more of an effort to incorporate more natural and organic products into my skincare regime. With that, I’ve rediscovered Josie Maran Cosmetics and their fantastic line of skincare products.

Before I even begin about the actual products, I love that the packaging doesn’t look “granola,” as it can with some organic products. Everything is simple, yet polished in brown glass bottles with white and shiny pink (who can resist?). As for the actual products, I tried a bit of their range – but my favorite is the Argan Oil Moisturizer with SPF40. In my quest for organic skincare, finding a moisturizer with SPF actually was a bit of challenge. This one is very lightweight, smells incredible and keeps my face moisturized and protected (without making me break out). Overall, the moisturizer is mild and absorbs very quickly. I love using it alone or as a base to my makeup; plus, it leaves my skin looking glowy. Who doesn’t want that?

If you’re looking for a do-it-all moisturizing product, I also happen to love their signature 100% Pure Argan Oil. This oil is very lightweight oil, so it works on all skin types – even sensitive or acne-prone (like mine). The oil is grown organically in Morocco, and so great for your skin since it’s rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids. I love using this as a moisturizer post-shower, rubbing a few drops onto my face or dry patches of the body (like elbows).

So far, I’m excited about the Josie Maran products being both natural and effective; so I’m continuing to explore the skincare range and will report back!

I was in love with the Josie Maran argan oil, but it started to break me out. Have you tried the Dr. Hauschka Nomalizing Day Oil? It’s awesome. I talk about it here:

I love Josie Maran products, my skin type is mature, combination. I am using her cleansing oil, the above moisturize, and the sunless tanning cream. All excellent products and I do see the difference in my skin, I urge everyone considering new skin care to go and look at the huge array of great products.
