ONE:  Reiko Kaneko Lip Tease Cup and Saucer –  Lauren Santo Domingo, once told Into the Gloss, that she finds early morning lipstick on coffee cups “vulgar.” Even though I’m inclined to agree, I have other words to describe this lipstick-stained teacup and saucer. Words like cheeky, flirty, whimsical, adorable, and perfect.  Perfect for frequent tea drinkers or even those who just like to have fine-bone china on display. So hey, don’t worry about setting the stain, it’s already taken care of. Kathleen

TWO: Julia Baker 6 Piece Purse Box — Julia Baker’s chocolates aren’t just for chocolate lovers… they’re for turning ordinary people into chocolate lovers. Crafted from the heart, each one of Julia’s whimsical truffles and hand-cut chocolates taste like a little piece of (the most delicious) heaven. The six-piece purse box is outfitted with 3 chocolates and 3 truffles, oozing with the most divine French Caramel filling. Any lucky recipient of this purse will want to take it with her whenever she goes, guaranteed.  Carolyn

THREE: Bouchon Bakery Cookbook – New from chef Thomas Keller’s gang (The French Laundry, Ad Hoc) and executive pastry chef Sebastien Rouxel, this cookbook is an aspirational work for any foodie. From French/American classics like brioche and Oh Ohs to the acclaimed Bouchon Bakery TKOs and Nutter Butters, recipes run the gamut from pastries to pet treats. Of course, no Keller cookbook is complete without beautiful photographs and thorough cooking/baking tips, which makes the book — at the very least — great coffee table material. Charli

FOUR: Little Black Dress Vodka – For the cocktail connoisseur in your friends circle, consider giving a gift that will never go out of style — the little black dress….vodka. Made for women, by women, Little Black Dress Vodka comes in four different fun flavors with one common theme: they taste great and are low in calories (win and win!). You can even customize the flavor to your friend’s personality: a bottle of the Black Cherry Vanilla for your best friend who’s always getting in trouble, or the Pineapple Honey for the flirty one in the group, or the Blueberry Pomegranate for your chatty, happy hour buddy. As any gal knows, regardless of flavor, you can never go wrong with the LBD.  - Carolyn

FIVE: MCRN Bar Subscription – Macaron enthusiasts will travel far for that delicate sweet confectionery, but now they won’t have to thanks to MCRN Bar, a new macaron subscription service. Launched from New Orleans baker Juley Le’s home kitchen, MCRN Bar offers a macaron-of-the-month program where subscribers receive a fresh batch of 10 macarons delivered straight to their door. The flavors, mostly inspired from Southern delicacies and drinks, could range from Mint Coconut one month to Vietnamese Coffee with Condensed Milk Filling another month. MCRN Bar will no doubt keep your friends constantly surprised — and delighted — throughout the year. Carolyn

SIX: Williams-Sonoma Plantine Pot de Cremes – Of all the decadent desserts I’ve tasted over the years, my all time favorite is a Pot De Creme. Done well, it’s an amazing end to a fantastic meal (or, let’s face it, fabulous all on its own!) My favorite restaurant in New Jersey does a chocolate one that will blow your mind, but since they’re not always that easy to find, do your favorite foodie a favor and ship them the Platine Pot De Creme Sampler from Williams-Sonoma. The Platine Bakery is here in Los Angeles and deserves every accolade it gets, and for $49, you can send someone an assortment of six pots in three different flavors – Butterscotch, Caramel and Chocolate. (The Caramel flavor is even dusted with fleur de sel, my favorite thing to pair with caramel). I can’t think of anyone I know who wouldn’t open the package and be excited. (Hint, hint, family and friends who haven’t bought anything for me yet!) Definitely a gift worth savoring. Stacey
