Yoga is my go-to class – not only for the fitness benefits, but also for the mind and spirit. Lucky for me, lucy Activewear stocked me up on some amazing clothing that I’ve really loved wearing in my classes lately.
I first have to talk about yoga pants. I love wearing leggings to classes, as they’re simply comfortable and easy to move in. However, after that whole recent see-through yoga pant situation (we all know which brand I’m talking about!), I had a bit of anxiety in looking for a new pair of yoga pants. However, lucy’s Hatha Legging has restored my faith. They’re made with a thick black nylon-spandex blend that are definitely opaque. These moisture-wick leggings have a gusset inset for easy movement and comfort, as well as lucy’s powermax compression for the slimmest, most flattering fit. I always feel so skinny in these that I’m really tempted to wear them all week-long at work. (I think that would be a no-go though!) Equally awesome are the slimming Lotus Power Pants, which has a higher back (so when you bend over in any poses, it covers your behind). The seaming on the sides of the pants also elongate your legs. It comes in Long, Short and Regular – so you can find the best fit, no matter your height.
Next up is lucy’s Tranquility Tunic. Ladies…I am obsessed. The tunic is made of lightweight jersey knit, so it’s very comfortable and soft. You can wear it front to back – either as a boatneck or a scoopneck. The dolman sleeves and the ruching on the sides is also super flattering. It’s sold as a layering top, but if you get it in a darker color (such as the asphalt gray), you could wear it with just a sports bra underneath. I might be buying this in multiple colors.
Lastly, I’ve been toting a cute little bkr bottle to classes as of late. Spotted on a bevy of celebs (Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Alba, Kristen Bell), I’ve been very curious about the bottle for a long time, and was so excited to finally get one! Available in a rainbow of colors, I absolutely love the minimal design. It’s super simple to use – with its twist cap and the silicone sleeve easily removed (if needed). For only $28, I might be scooping these up as gifts in the future!
Now that you’ve read all about my latest must-have yoga gear, go stock up yourself and head to a class. Namaste.
