Beauty, MakeupCharlotte Tilbury: Hollywood Lips

Charlotte Tilbury’s fabulous new product hits the beauty scene with a bang: bold, pigmented color comes in a weightless form with the Hollywood Lips collection. Noticeably absent is any caking or dryness, and the full coverage matte finish glides on like a gloss. The genius crescent applicator mimics the natural curve of your lips to facilitate coverage in one stroke. A bonus “side effect” is that my lips look incredibly plump and soft, even a little smile gives off a huge impact. My personal fave is Too Bad I’m Bad, which is a sweet but definitely not shy pink. Its boldness (even without a lip liner!) makes it the center of attention to my look, and I’m Instagram ready within seconds!

The lipstick is infused with Sea Lavender SC, an anti-aging active ingredient extracted from a marine plant harvested on the coast of Northern Brittany, the formula firms and plumps (hyaluronic acid) lips to provide the a natural solution for slowing down the signs of aging. Cyclopentasiloxane and Beeswax provide a long-wear finish while locking in moisture for baby-soft lips. I get a kick out of the fun names and personalities of the ten glam shades, Dangerous Liaison (warm rusty rose), Best Actress (soft, creamy nude brown), Charlotte Darling (Charlotte’s personal shade – a creamy pink beige nude), Show Girl (natural rose berry), Rising Star (warm pink), Pin-Up Pink (shimmery coral pink), Platinum Blonde (light peachy nude), Screen Siren (classic ruby red), Dolly Bird (cool pale pink), and Too Bad I’m Bad (warm rosy pink).
