As the daughter of skin care legend Sonya Dakar, Mimi Dakar Berry was born into the beauty business and has been working closely with her mom since she was a teenager. She’s now the Vice President of the company and handles (among other things) all of Sonya Daker Skin Clinic‘s special events, like the new rooftop treatment space. (Such a great idea! When we discovered the New York-based vintage costume jewelry and python handbag line, Madame Mathilde, we were instantly obsessed. As the designer of Gemma Redux, Rachel Dooley knows a thing or two about the concept of cool. An almost lawyer, Rachel decided to take a break from studying for the bar by making her first mixed metal necklace from vintage and industrial materials, and thus, launching her line.  Today, her designs have graced the necks of celebs like Cameron Diaz, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jessica Alba and Molly Sims, and have spawned devoted fans (like one of our TDO editors)! We adore the candle line, Paddywax, created by Gretchen Hollingsworth. What started out as a whim, it is now a 14 year old company with many fans (like us!). Paddywax is probably best known for their gorgeously scented and imaginative candles with elegant packaging – together, making the product irresitable! As the co-founder of Anlo, Jenna Andreola knows a thing or two about denim. Anlo was founded on the principal of creating chic, sophisticated denim that would be versatile in a woman’s wardrobe. The brand recently took the same principal and expanded to silk tops and dresses. They make some of our favorite pieces and fans of the brand include stylish celebs such as Kate Moss, Heidi Klum, and Leighton Meester, among others.
