TDO on Longchamp


To celebrate their newest collection, Gatsby, Longchamp Paris reached out to select global bloggers to offer their interpretation of the enduring icon.  Along with editors from Fashioniologie from the US, My Sac a Main from France, and Mirai’s Diary from Japan, I contributed a short essay on my interpretation of Gatsby for Longchamp.

You can read my piece here.  It has also been translated into French and Japanese.  Exciting!

P.S. I love the Gatsby bag and must add to my collection ASAP, preferably in the caramel print (as seen in the image above).


Master Cleanse


If you’ve been a long time reader of TDO, you might have noticed that anything that is “health” or “fitness” related is usually written by me.  It’s because my desire to get fitter, healthier, and leaner has been on going for many years.  I’ll try anything (except pills and products promoted in shady commercials).  But a new workout class? I’m in.  Binging on green tea?  Yep.   Some of you may even remember that last year to gear up for Fashion Week,  I even tried…not eating.  Of course, one of Madonna’s stylists threw me that tip soooo….

At any rate, I recently documented my Master Cleanse experience for Health.com.   If you’ve ever entertained the idea of doing a lenghty “cleanse,” make sure to read up on my experience!


Carry On like a JSG


My friends Anne and Hope over at the fabulous travel blog, The Jet Set Girls, had me participate in their newest Carry On feature. TDO is looking for smart, fun, fashionable gals or guys to join our team as marketing and editorial interns. This will initially start as a 3 month summer position with the opportunity to continue into Fashion Week SS 2010 and beyond!
